| PROTMAX-ICS Inhibitor Solution
( Patent No. 109784/67 ) is used for preparing Anticorrosive Treatment
Slurry which can be applied on steel reinforcement rods for corrosion
protection.
The coating slurry is prepared by mixing PROTMAX-ICS with Cement in the ratio of 600 cc of PROTMAX-ICS with 1 Kg of cement. The slurry as prepared above should be applied on cleaned steel rod by dipping or brushing and should be allowed to air dry for 12 to 24 Hrs. This coating provides a highly
alkaline and passive environment to rod surface. |
